ग्वालियर.खूंखार डाकू,चंबल के बीहड़ों का राजा,550 डाकुओं का सरदार और लगभग 125 कत्लों के आरोप में भारत सरकार द्वारा दो करोड़ रुपए का इनामी *डाकू पंचम सिंह* Dacoit Pancham Singh आज का राजयोगी बन चुका है।
अब लोगों के मन को परिवर्तित करने में अपना जीवन व्यतीत कर रहा है।
कभी चंबल के बीहड़ों में बंदूक की नोक पर दहशत का पर्याय रहा डाकू सरदार पंचम सिंह राजयोगी बनने के बाद देशभर में अध्यात्म की अलख जगा रहा है। पंचम ने अध्यात्म और आत्मविश्वास के बल पर जिंदगी बदलने के गुर सिखाए।
550 डाकुओं ने किया था समर्पण
चंबल के बीहड़ों में दहशत के रूप में कुख्यात पंचमसिंह जमीनदारों के सताने पर परिवार का बदला लेने के लिए डाकू बने। पंचायत चुनाव के दौरान एक पक्ष का समर्थन करने पर विरोधी गुट के लोगों ने इतना बेरहमी से पीटा कि लंबे समय तक अस्पताल में भर्ती होना पड़ा। इलाज के बाद जब गांव लौटा तो ग्रामीणों पर उत्पीडऩ शुरू हो चुका था। विरोधी गुट हावी था। हर किसी का जीना दुश्वार था। फिर क्या था कूद पड़े चंबल के बीहड़ों में 12 डाकुओं के साथ।
धीरे-धीरे यह कुनबा बढ़कर 550 पहुंच गया। बदले की भावना से छह लोगों की सरेआम हत्या कर दी गई। करीब 14 साल तक बीहड़ों में दहशत का पर्याय बना रहा। पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी और लोकनायक जयप्रकाश नारायण की प्रेरणा से आत्मसमर्पण किया। तब 550 डाकुओं ने एक साथ बंदूक छोड़ दी थी।
फिर अध्यात्म से बदलीं राहें...
समर्पण करने के बाद जब पंचम जेल में सजा काट रहे थे,तब प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्व विद्यालय की मुख्य संचालिका दादी प्रकाशमणि जी जेल आईं थीं। उन्हें इंदिरा गांधी ने चुनौती दी थी कि डाकुओं का मन बदल कर दिखाएं। दादीजी ने प्रेरित किया तो मन बदल गया। पंचम सिंह 90 साल के हैं और आज भी वे राजयोगी बनकर जी रहे हैं।
